ALIAPUR Launches Major Transport Tender for End-of-Life Tyre Logistics
ALIAPUR has officially launched a new transport tender covering the movement of end-of-life tyres across its nationwide recycling network. The contracts will run for two years, beginning on 1 January 2027, and are open to transport companies with the technical capabilities, fleet capacity and operational expertise required to support one of Europe's largest tyre collection and recovery systems.
According to ALIAPUR, the new tender has been designed with a strong focus on both operational efficiency and environmental performance. Each transport route has been optimized to reduce CO₂ emissions while ensuring reliable deliveries and improved visibility of expected transport volumes for all stakeholders throughout the recycling chain.
The initiative forms part of ALIAPUR's broader strategy to continuously improve the logistics behind France's extended producer responsibility (EPR) system for tyres. Efficient transportation is a critical element of the circular economy, connecting collection points with sorting facilities, recycling plants and recovery partners across France and Europe.
Earlier this year, ALIAPUR also launched a separate large-scale tender covering the collection, sorting, processing and transportation of approximately 450,000 tonnes of end-of-life tyres annually, demonstrating the organization's ongoing efforts to strengthen and modernize the entire tyre recovery infrastructure.
The transport tender is open to qualified logistics providers capable of meeting ALIAPUR's operational, technical and environmental requirements. Interested companies can obtain further information and participate through ALIAPUR's dedicated procurement platform.
Why It Matters
As tyre manufacturers and recycling companies continue to invest in circular economy solutions such as tyre recycling, recovered raw materials and tyre-to-tyre initiatives, efficient logistics are becoming increasingly important. Optimized transport networks not only lower emissions but also improve traceability, planning reliability and the overall efficiency of end-of-life tyre management.
With this latest tender, ALIAPUR underlines that sustainable logistics has become an essential pillar of Europe's evolving circular tyre economy.
