Dunlop and Falken strengthen UK road safety through TyreSafe partnership

DUNLOP and FALKEN have become official supporters of TyreSafe, the UK's leading independent tyre safety charity, reinforcing their commitment to improving road safety and reducing tyre-related incidents across the country.

The addition of the two globally recognised tyre brands further expands TyreSafe's network of industry supporters and strengthens its ability to deliver evidence-based tyre safety campaigns, public education initiatives and policy engagement at a time when the UK is implementing its first National Road Safety Strategy in 15 years.

Together, DUNLOP and FALKEN represent a significant share of the UK and European tyre market, covering premium, performance, SUV, passenger car and light commercial vehicle segments. Their participation is expected to broaden the reach of tyre safety messages and encourage more motorists to regularly check tyre pressure, tread depth and tyre condition.

Beyond public awareness campaigns, the partnership will also support research and data-sharing initiatives aimed at improving the understanding of tyre-related road safety risks and helping develop future safety strategies.

Stuart Lovatt, Chair of TyreSafe, welcomed the new supporters, stating that bringing together leading tyre manufacturers strengthens the organisation's ability to influence driver behaviour, share technical expertise and deliver life-saving safety messages.

Markus Bögner, President and Managing Director of Dunlop Tyre Europe and Falken Tyres Europe, said the partnership reflects both brands' long-term commitment to safety, innovation and educating motorists about the critical role tyres play in vehicle safety.

TyreSafe will work closely with DUNLOP and FALKEN on future awareness campaigns, educational programmes, industry engagement and research projects designed to promote safer roads across the United Kingdom.

The collaboration highlights the growing commitment of the tyre industry to work collectively with charities, government agencies and road safety organisations to reduce preventable road accidents and improve tyre maintenance awareness among drivers.
