Kumho Tire has secured fourth place in the 2026 J.D. Power U.S. Original Equipment Tire Customer Satisfaction Study, highlighting the company's continued progress in product quality and customer satisfaction within the highly competitive North American market.

The annual study evaluated 13 global tyre brands in the passenger car original equipment (OE) segment based on four key performance criteria: ride comfort, traction and handling, tyre wear, and overall appearance. More than 30,000 owners of 2023–2025 model year vehicles participated in the survey.

Kumho Tire achieved 793 points, exceeding the industry average of 788 points and ranking fourth among all participating brands.

"The results of the highly respected J.D. Power study demonstrate the strength of our technology and product quality," said Hyung-jong Moon, Senior Vice President of Quality Assurance at Kumho Tire. He added that the company will continue investing in innovation and quality to further enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen its position as a technology-driven tyre manufacturer.

The latest ranking supports Kumho Tire's strategy of expanding its global premium brand image. Following record revenue of KRW 4.7 trillion in 2025, the company is targeting KRW 5.1 trillion in sales for 2026 while continuing to strengthen quality management across product development, testing, manufacturing and customer service.
