Liberty Tire Recycling Expands Gulf Coast Footprint with Three Strategic Acquisitions

Liberty Tire Recycling has significantly expanded its presence in the U.S. tyre recycling industry through the acquisition of three companies in a single strategic move. The company has completed the acquisitions of Genan's U.S. operations, All American Tire Recycling, and Colt Tire Recycling, strengthening its collection, processing and recycling capabilities across the Gulf Coast region.

The combined acquisitions establish one of the largest integrated tyre recycling networks in the southern United States. By adding new collection infrastructure, processing facilities and recycling capacity, Liberty aims to improve operational efficiency while increasing the availability of recycled tyre-derived materials for customers across multiple industries.

Among the transactions, the acquisition of Genan's U.S. operations is considered particularly significant. Genan has long been recognized as one of the world's leading tyre recyclers, and the addition of its American business substantially enhances Liberty's processing capabilities and market reach.

The acquisitions of All American Tire Recycling and Colt Tire Recycling further strengthen Liberty's regional collection network and expand its ability to process end-of-life tyres throughout Texas, Louisiana and the wider Gulf Coast region.

The expansion follows Liberty Tire Recycling's acquisition by I Squared Capital in late 2025. Since the ownership change, the company has pursued an ambitious growth strategy focused on expanding recycling capacity, improving logistics and supporting the circular economy for tyres.

With the three acquisitions now completed, Liberty Tire Recycling is well positioned to meet increasing demand for recycled rubber products, tyre-derived materials and sustainable recycling solutions as governments and manufacturers place greater emphasis on circular resource management.
