Tailor-made Bridgestone premium tyres for the new Volkswagen ID. Polo GTI

Bridgestone has been selected as the tyre supplier for the new VW ID. Polo GTI and will supply tailor-made Potenza Sport tyres for the first all-electric GTI in Volkswagen’s history. It was unveiled at the 2026 24-hour race last weekend at the Nürburgring.

Bridgestone’s premium tyres were developed to bring the sporty GTI DNA to the road while also meeting key performance requirements in terms of braking behaviour, wear and road noise. Developed and manufactured in Italy, the tyre features Bridgestone’s Enliten technology and was designed using the company’s in-house Virtual Tyre Development technology.
