Lips Reifenhandel takes over exclusive distribution

In order to achieve this, Giti Tire has decided to take new distribution routes and will from now on rely on Lips Reifenhandel GmbH as its exclusive distribution partner in Germany. The wholesaler with a logistics location in central Germany has an excellent distribution system and, in connection with this, a customer-friendly delivery speed and first-class service: orders received by 15:00 are delivered as early as the next working day in 90 % of cases. In addition, Lips Reifenhandel GmbH waives freight costs for its customers within Germany from an order of just two tyres. Giti Tire truck active marketers in the specialist tyre trade are set to benefit from this first-class delivery service and customer-oriented support.
“Together, we will coordinate all management, sales and marketing activities for truck and bus tyres of the Giti Tire brand in Germany in order to combine our strengths and thus support the specialist tyre trade in the best possible way,” says Claus Lips, Managing Director of Lips Reifenfachhandel GmbH. “Uncomplicated, faster and customer-optimized service with a competitive cost structure is a speciality of Lips Reifenhandel GmbH. The Giti Tire team will support Lips Reifenhandel GmbH in its activities. While the Giti Tire field service will continue to be on hand for all questions regarding products, use of tread patterns, subsidy guidelines, etc., Giti Tire’s technicians will take care of the new developments and practical tests of the truck and bus tyres that are in use with the fleets,” says Josef Huber, Sales Manager TBR D-A-CH at Giti Tire. The introduction of a special partner programme for active Giti Tire truck tyre specialist dealers will start in 2021 and is intended to ensure the sustainable establishment of Giti Tire truck tyre marketing.
