NEXEN TIRE used The Tire Cologne 2026 to highlight its commitment to the future of digital mobility, presenting its vision alongside the Global Data Service Organisation (GDSO). As an active GDSO member since January 2024, the company is helping to develop industry-wide standards that will transform tyres into connected, data-driven components throughout their entire lifecycle.

According to NEXEN TIRE, the digitalisation of the tyre industry will play a key role in creating a more transparent, efficient and sustainable mobility ecosystem. Standardised, trusted and easily accessible tyre data will enable intelligent mobility services, seamless integration with connected vehicles and infrastructure, improved road safety and more efficient lifecycle management. The company believes these digital standards will unlock significant value for manufacturers, fleet operators, service providers, regulators and drivers alike.

Through its participation in the GDSO, NEXEN TIRE is supporting the development of technologies for tyre lifecycle tracking, digital product identification and secure data exchange across the entire value chain.
