Pirelli Confirms 2026 Outlook Following Solid First-Half Results
Pirelli has confirmed its financial outlook for 2026 after reporting resilient results for the first half of the year. Despite continued geopolitical uncertainty and the impact of the Middle East conflict on raw material costs and global logistics, the premium tyre manufacturer maintained its revenue and profitability targets for the full year.
During the second quarter, adjusted earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) increased by 1% year-on-year to €280 million, while the adjusted EBIT margin remained stable at 16%. Revenue reached approximately €1.76 billion, supported by continued demand for high-value tyre products.
Pirelli confirmed its full-year guidance of €6.75 billion to €6.95 billion in revenue and an adjusted EBIT margin of around 16%. The company said it expects its premium-focused strategy to continue supporting profitability despite ongoing macroeconomic challenges.
According to the company, higher sales of premium and prestige tyres helped compensate for negative foreign exchange effects and lower sales volumes in some markets. Pirelli also expects to further strengthen its market position in the high-value tyre segment while continuing to reduce its exposure to standard tyre products.
Management acknowledged that the conflict in the Middle East continues to affect global economic growth, inflation and raw material costs. Nevertheless, the company believes its pricing strategy, operational efficiency measures and product mix will enable it to achieve its financial objectives for the year.
Pirelli's reaffirmed guidance highlights the resilience of the premium tyre market, where demand for technologically advanced, high-performance products continues to provide stronger margins than the mass-market segment. The company remains focused on innovation and value-added products as key drivers of long-term growth.
