Sailun Strengthens Global Brand Position with 37% Value Growth
Sailun Group has further strengthened its position in the global tyre industry after recording a 37% year-on-year increase in brand value, reaching USD 1.239 billion. According to the latest Brand Finance Tyres 25 2026 ranking, Sailun is now ranked as the 10th most valuable tyre brand in the world, reinforcing its growing international presence and long-term brand strategy.
The achievement marks another important milestone for the Chinese manufacturer, which has steadily expanded its global footprint through investments in technology, premium product development and international market growth. Sailun has remained the highest-ranked Chinese tyre brand in the Brand Finance ranking for four consecutive years and continues to be the only Chinese tyre manufacturer represented in the global top ten.
According to Sailun, the strong increase in brand value reflects the company's long-term focus on technological innovation, customer-oriented product development and sustainable business practices. The company has invested heavily in research and development across passenger car, truck and bus, and off-the-road (OTR) tyre segments while expanding its portfolio with high-performance and electric vehicle tyre solutions.
Brand Finance also highlighted the growing influence of Asian tyre manufacturers in the global market. While Michelin retained its position as the world's most valuable tyre brand, Sailun was identified as one of the fastest-growing brands worldwide, underlining the shifting competitive landscape within the tyre industry.
In addition to its commercial success, Sailun has continued to strengthen its sustainability profile. The company recently improved its ESG performance, expanded its sustainable natural rubber sourcing initiatives and increased its global original equipment (OE) partnerships, supporting its ambition to become a leading premium tyre manufacturer.
With its latest brand valuation, Sailun demonstrates that Chinese tyre manufacturers are continuing to gain international recognition through innovation, product quality and strategic global expansion. As competition within the global tyre market intensifies, brand strength is becoming an increasingly important factor alongside manufacturing capacity, technology and sustainability.
