Toyo Tires Produces 100 Millionth Tire at Its North American Manufacturing Plant

Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc. (TNA) has reached a significant milestone with the production of its 100 millionth tire at the company's manufacturing facility in White, Georgia. The achievement marks more than 20 years of continuous tire production and reflects Toyo Tires' long-term commitment to manufacturing, innovation and customer supply in the North American market.

Since production began in 2005, the Georgia plant has become one of the company's most important manufacturing sites, supplying premium tires for passenger cars, SUVs and light trucks across North America. In addition to supporting regional demand, the facility has contributed to local economic growth through job creation, long-term investment and ongoing expansion initiatives.

The company emphasized that the milestone is the result of the dedication and expertise of its employees. Three team members—David Hughes, Steve Addison and Glen Schulz—who helped manufacture the plant's very first tire in 2005 also participated in producing the 100 millionth tire and remain part of the workforce today. Their continued service reflects the strong culture and experience that have supported the facility's success over the past two decades.

Patrick Lenz, President and Chief Operating Officer of Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc., described the achievement as more than just a production figure, highlighting the people behind the milestone. He noted that the company's success is built on the commitment, teamwork and shared goals of its employees, whose efforts have established the Georgia plant as a key manufacturing operation within Toyo Tires' global network.
