Yokohama Rubber's "ADVAN Sport EV" Tires Are Fitted to the New Porsche Cayenne

Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. has begun supplying its "ADVAN Sport EV" tires as original equipment (OE) for the Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric*, which will be launched worldwide by Porsche AG in November 2025 as fully electric models of the premium SUV "Cayenne". The fitted sizes are 255/55R20 110Y for the front and 305/45R20 116Y for the rear.
*Previous generation gasoline and hybrid models of the Cayenne will continue to be sold alongside the new models.

The "ADVAN Sport EV" is a premium ultra-high-performance summer tire for electric vehicles, developed to meet the typical needs of electric vehicles and other electric vehicles, based on Yokohama Rubber's high-performance car tire, "ADVAN Sport V107". These tires offer low energy consumption and quiet operation befitting a premium EV, and the tire sidewall is stamped with our unique "E+" mark, indicating that they are electric vehicle compatible. The tires fitted to these new vehicles were jointly developed with Porsche, employing a special compound that maintains low rolling resistance while achieving a high level of both dry and wet grip, and achieving the highest level "A" in the European labeling system for wet performance. Furthermore, the belt structure has been optimized to enhance handling stability. The tire sidewall is stamped with the "NG0" mark, indicating Porsche's approval.

Yokohama Rubber first obtained technical approval from Porsche in 1988. Starting with the "YOKOHAMA A-008P" fitted to the 911, we have supplied tires as original equipment to many Porsche vehicles, including the Cayman, Boxster, Cayenne, and Panamera. Regarding the Cayenne, our global flagship tire brand "ADVAN" series tires have been continuously fitted to the vehicle from the first generation to the current fourth-generation model, and the new Cayenne also features the "ADVAN Sport EV A/S V35," an all-season model of the "ADVAN Sport EV." In its tire

consumer goods strategy for the medium-term management plan "Yokohama Transformation 2026 (YX2026)" from fiscal year 2024 to 2026, Yokohama Rubber aims to maximize the ratio of high value-added products, and as part of this, is promoting the installation of its global flagship tire brand "ADVAN" and its SUV/pickup truck tire brand "GEOLANDAR" as original equipment on new vehicles.
