Yokohama Rubber's "ADVAN Sport V107" tires are now fitted as original equipment on the BMW iX3.

Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. has begun supplying its "ADVAN Sport V107" tires as original equipment (OE) for the new "BMW iX3," a battery electric vehicle (BEV) that BMW AG of Germany began selling worldwide in March 2026. The fitted sizes are 255/40R21 102Y for the front and 275/40R21 107Y for the rear. The "ADVAN Sport V107

" is an ultra-high-performance tire in the "ADVAN" series, Yokohama Rubber's global flagship tire brand. The tires supplied this time were jointly developed with BMW AG, and by applying dedicated tuning to the pattern, profile, and compound, rolling resistance is significantly reduced, while the unique "Mound Profile" technology ensures a more uniform contact surface, resulting in a high level of balance between dry and wet performance and wear resistance. Both rolling resistance and wet grip performance have earned the highest grade "A" under the European labeling system.

The tire sidewall is stamped with a star mark, signifying the approval of BMW's technical capabilities, quality, and reliability as a tire supplied to BMW by only a limited number of tire manufacturers worldwide, as well as Yokohama Rubber's unique "E+" mark, indicating that the product incorporates technologies that meet the unique needs of electric vehicles, such as durability, quietness, and low energy consumption.

The "ADVAN Sport V107" has a proven track record of being adopted by numerous BMW Group vehicles, including the "BMW 7 Series," "BMW M2," "BMW X7," and "BMW XM." In its

medium-term management plan "Yokohama Transformation 2026 (YX2026)" from fiscal year 2024 to 2026, Yokohama Rubber aims to maximize the proportion of high value-added products in its tire consumer goods strategy.
